Various wireless communication devices to realize data communication between devices or with serial servers without cable connection, all of which are transmitted under various protocol conditions, and many different types of wireless communications.

The technology has been widely used in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communication. IEEE has seven 802.15 technical task groups (standards). These 802.15 task groups include: WPAN/Bluetooth, Coexistence (network coexistence), high-speed WPAN, low-speed WPAN, mesh network, local area network and visible light communication. Each of these wireless transmission protocols has different characteristics and application fields

1.WiFi module communication protocol-IEEE 802.11

The Wi-Fi module is a wireless module that uses radio waves (RF) to realize mutual communication between two devices. The Wi-Fi module is often used to connect terminal devices such as computers, tablets, and mobile phones to routers to achieve the purpose of surfing the Internet. The actual Wi-Fi module is also widely used for the connection between any two hardware devices, such as complex industrial scenarios and outdoor networking.

2.Narrowband Transmission Protocol-NB-IoT

The Nb-IoT narrowband transmission protocol is based on the cellular narrowband Internet of Things (NB-IoT) technology and has become an important branch of the Internet of Things network. NB-IoT only consumes about 180KHz of bandwidth to build a cellular network, and can be directly deployed on GSM networks, UMTS networks, and LTE networks to reduce network deployment costs and achieve smooth upgrades.

3.LoRa

LoRa is the abbreviation of Long Range (Long Range), and the transmission rate is relatively low. The LoRa wireless module has the characteristics of low power consumption, low cost, long distance, and multi-node.

4.ZigBee Protocol IEEE 802.15.4

ZigBee technology is an open global standard wireless transmission protocol, which is specially designed for M2M networks. ZigBee not only has low cost and low power consumption, but also has the characteristics of low duty cycle and low delay, which maximizes the battery life of the product’s power supply. It is an ideal technical solution for many industrial communications. The ZigBee module protocol also provides 128-bit AES encryption, supports Mesh ad hoc networks, and network nodes can also be connected together through wireless transmission through multiple paths.

5.Bluetooth module and BLE transmission protocol IEEE 802.15.1

Bluetooth modules and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) wireless transmission are wireless technologies used to transmit data over short distances. It is often used to connect light smart terminals such as mobile phones, tablets and computers, such as various voice systems. The Bluetooth Low Energy module (BLE) has lower power than the standard Bluetooth module, and is often used in sports bracelets, smart watches or other wearable hardware devices superior.
